Slack Usability Test

The testing was run on both the Slack desktop and mobile app to uncover potential hidden flows or weaknesses that novice and pro users may face when using the product.

Users were given a predefined scenario and then asked to perform certain tasks such as;
customizing their own profile, locating their teammate contact info, message posting, file sharing and customizing the notification system.

Tasks given to users were focused on primary goals that users can perform with Slack in their work. To help users understand and connect with the tasks, scenarios were used to add meaning and context to the tasks with minimum bias. Additionally, open-ended questions obtain feedback about how users felt about their experience with each task.
